The first objective of BioRéalités is to generate and produce a new therapeutic tool for colorectal cancer treatment.
Existing therapies have little selectivity for colorectal cancer. Stemming from years of work by an internationally renowned research team, the strategy developed by BioRéalités focuses on a novel and highly specific tumor target.
This target is also being used as a base to develop a colorectal cancer companion test.
BioRéalités coordinates and is the main actor in a project recently selected by the French National Research Agency (ANR), as part of the 2008 BioTecs call for proposals. This collaborative project with three academic labs aims to further our understanding of the in vitro and in vivo mechanisms underlying the biological efficacy of our therapeutic tool.
